Thrifting also allows you to support local businesses and avoid the crowds of big Holiday sales. The thrill is in the hunt – go digging through piles of clothes, searching for that perfect item. You might even end up with some treasures you never would have found otherwise. Check out these tips for successful thrifting!

Set a budget and stick to it! If you go into the thrift store with $20, don’t buy anything that costs more than $20! This can be tough sometimes because some really great pieces are sold for around or over your set price. In this case, consider bargaining with the store to get a better price!

Be open-minded! Thrift stores are packed with a variety of clothes, kitchen goods, shoes and more. So, you’re sure to find something that’s perfect for you, even if it’s not your usual style. You never know; Sometimes I come across vintage items that can have a great resell price.

Finally, always ask the price! Many people get so caught up in finding great deals that they forget to check if there’s a tag on an item. Asking the price before you purchase will ensure that you’re getting the best deal possible!
